Run for Diabetes - British 10k, London – Sunday 2nd July 2006 – 2 places left!!!
The Stephanie Marks Diabetes Appeal has been allocated 24 places in this year’s run. Two places are still available, so if you want to enjoy seeing the sights of London close up, get fit and raise money for this worthwhile charity, sign up now.
During its brief five year history, the annual British 10k London Run has quickly grown to become the third most significant mass participation road race in the UK (www.thebritish10klondon.co.uk). Passing many of London's most famous historic landmarks, runners raise a great many tens of thousands of pounds for their chosen causes through sponsorship. This is a very popular reason for running the race, and hundreds of charities both large and small benefit from the goodwill of their volunteer runners and their generous sponsors. Last year, supporters running on behalf of The Stephanie Marks Diabetes Appeal raised around £5,500. Many enjoyed it so much that they are participating again. Two places remain for this year’s run, to join them ring 01932 722330 now.
