The Stephanie Marks Diabetes Appeal was fortunate to receive a boost to its funds when members of the Inner Wheel Club of Feltham donated a further £750 to the Appeal. The ladies raised the money by holding a variety of events throughout the year such as “a Bring and Buy sale” and a well attended “Last Night of the Proms” evening.

Past President, Inner Wheel Club of Feltham, Daphne Cass explains, “The Appeal was originally selected as our nominated charity three years ago but the club is keen to continue with its support as we consider it to be such a worthwhile local cause. Diabetes is a growing condition that affects many of our members and having a local facility with everything under one roof would speed up the appointment system and give faster access to treatment when it’s needed.
