How you can earn money for the Stephanie Marks Diabetes Appeal

It's time to get the girls together and have some fun with weekenders, a mix and match clothing concept to suit every women's wardrobe.

Tricia Barr, independent co-ordinator for Weekenders Ltd, is seeking volunteers to host small get-togethers of the Weekenders fashion collection. She will donate a percentage of the sales to the Stephanie Marks Appeal which is raising funds to improve the quality of diabetes care in Surrey & West Middlesex. Tricia is supporting the Appeal as her mother suffered from Type 2 diabetes and related complications which lead to her death.

Tricia is an experienced stylist and will give you advice on how to co-ordinate your wardrobe and simplify your life.
  • Anyone can be a hostess.

  • Just invite 4 - 6 guests who love clothes

  • Choose people who want to have a fun evening and support the charity while finding clothes to look good in

  • Explain that if a guest books her own 'Get Together' the amount of money going to the Charity rises

As a thank you, the hostess will receive from Tricia, a gorgeous co-ordinated wrap

The 'Get Together' can be held at hostess's home or Tricia's home in Guildford where guest can try on a variety of samples.

Please contact Tricia on 07932 306255

Link to Ashford and St Peters website   Thank you for helping the Stephanie Marks Diabetes Appeal reach its financial target of raising £1 million. We couldn't have done it without your help. Construction of the Diabetes Resource Centre is now underway and is scheduled to be completed in the Autumn 2009.

Official fundraising for the Appeal has now stopped but donations are still welcome and needed to support patient education and materials. Please send your cheque payable to "The Stephanie Marks Appeal" to Janet Booker, Cashier, St. Peter's Hospital (telephone 01932 722334).

Thank you for your ongoing support
